12. Shows how they are taking their supporters for a ride
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 09:43 AM by rainbow4321
Telling them to go and protest, make every vote "count", get every one seated/counted as a full vote. So their supporters go and make idiots of themselves yesterday, total laughingstocks.
Yet in this audio, we have BC admitting a few days ago that the Clinton camp KNOWS that the result will be the half count/vote.

13. Uh... we had NO VOTES until the Clinton campaign decided to champion
the issue.

The only thing the Clinton camp has been complaining about is the DNC subjugating their will for the Michigan voters by taking delegates away from one candidate, and the unprecedented move of awarding delegates to someone who was not on the ballot at all.

They used the excuse that the "election was flawed" when THEY are the ones that made it flawed, particularly when it now sounds like they had every intention of letting at least some of the delegates be seated at the time of that election.

16. Guess the power to make people do what you request
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 10:20 AM by DeschutesRiver
whenever and whatever you request is like a drug high to some people.

It is deplorable for the Clintons to pull this kind of shit - it is one thing to send out your lawyers with a position that you know you can't get, used as a bargaining chip to get some close but less. I used to practice law - that is negotiation 101 (sometimes there is no other way to make the other side come to reality quickly). But I wouldn't send an unwitting client out there to bleat out X, when I know we can only get Y, and worse, not let him know this is a complete freaking bluff on my part. That is done lawyer to lawyer, so that someone supposedly with a grip on these things can explain the reality to each of these clients, and see what comes of it.

But to send out sincere and loyal supporters to ask for one delegate seated, when you know you can't get it, because you, unlike them, know so many people behind the scenes who have already given you the true lowdown? Why would you do that, and esp. to many supporters who seriously believe every word you say is true? Users. Manipulators. Power hungry dumb politicians from Arkansas. Who could ever respect this couple of thugs?

People who are high on power like the Clintons are not the kind we need in office - they should go run some f'g banana republic in some dark corner of the world. Buh. Bye.

9. Probably a little harder to live apart from her in the WH, also
Even if they don't divorce, that whole "you know, you never see them together anymore" thing is more of a big deal with her in the WH.
He's probably thinking "dammit, she ends up in the WH and I will have to actually LIVE with the bitch".

10. lololol. you may be right.
he wanted her to get close....but not too close.

His personal connections to various efforts of humanitarian causes will be greatly helped with Obama in as president.

11. And BC's questionable business connections and money making deals
will be scrutinized much LESS if she doesn't make it to the WH.

Absolutely nuts. It's amazing people were pushing so hard for it today, like it actually had a chance or something.
