"pamphlets detailed Obama's supposed dealings in drugs and gay sex."
This is what Hillary supporters brought to their protest?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/05/31/eating-a-reuben-amidst-a_n_104486.html

Read this article, Eating A Reuben Amidst A Crowd Of Clintonites, is crazy. I don't know if I should laugh or cry!

Huffington Post reporter goes down to the hotel restaurant for a sandwich!

snip>>>>>

Shortly after revealing my publication, I was turned away. No worries, my lunch, a Reuben sandwich, had arrived. I pulled up my chair to the table and sat down to eat. Minutes later a chant began around me.

"HuffPost sucks! HuffPost sucks!" and later, "Fox News, fair and balanced! Fox News, fair and balanced!"

snip>>>>>>

"Obama is a cult. His campaign is an anti-woman cult."

"I will actively campaign against him."

"You know who is backing him is George Soros. It'll be George Soros, not Obama, who is running the country."

"South Dakota is totally rigged for Obama because of Tom Daschle. Obama's going to win South Dakota because he's buying it and rigging it."

"Obama is a socialist! You know what the Nazi Party was before it was the Nazi Party? It was the Socialist Party."

Perhaps my being white has something to do with it but, if so, then I'm a victim of "reverse racism." Just like Hillary. Sort of.

47. I haven't done any of those things.
Edited on Sat May-31-08 11:18 PM by rebel with a cause
Oh wait, maybe the "kill whitey".(KKK meeting I protested, didn't exactly say these words, but had to have police protection before it was over.) and maybe the hated women. (had two abusive contoling women bosses, one was the worse boss ever. Some men and women who worked under her have swore that they would run her over with their cars if they got a chance. Have thought of other ways I would do it.) Okay those two things I have done, but "kill whitey" might work in both instances.

If you don't know, am considered a white woman. But I guess I am on Murder, because the Bible says to think of doing something is as bad as doing it.

48. The Art of War....
...the Clinton's have been squeezing the left wing out of the party for a while now. I know several long time, strong Dems who left the party because of conservative influences in the party. I plead with them to stay because that was the result that the dlc wanted--to have a "base" like the republican base--ill-informed.

We have taken back the party.

29. Agreed.
I've never had any illusions that there weren't some Dems who didn't share my progressive ideals. I guess I just didn't expect them to expose their close-mindedness so openly.

A purge indeed. I don't want to share a party affiliation with some of these people.

Like Bernie Sanders? If only it were true, then I would be feeling really good about voting for him in November. As it is, I'll just vote for him and not feel so good - but given Clinton's behavior the last few months - I'll feel better voting for him than I would for her.

Up is down! Left is right! Just unbelievable. If these people are true Hillary supporters, and hey -- I honestly can't say one way or another because this situation is way too bizarre -- I wonder how filthy some of them feel, embracing the enemy so fully? Do they feel dirty, deep down inside? I like to think so but I have my doubts. This is just disgusting though, either way you slice it. Disgusting and just sad. :(
