Official Predictions for Puerto Rico: Hillary wins by a landslide.
Hillary has given Puerto Ricans a reason to vote for her- she's spent more time there than any other American politician in recent memory. Obama's effort was half-assed, we got to admit.

Hillary 62%, Obama 38%

Extremely low turnout, by the way (around 250K voters).

5. 51 - 38 in a recent poll. So 56 - 44 would be a better guess, I think.
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/05/31/presidential_primary_brings_attention_frustration_to_puerto_rico/

Senator Hillary Clinton of New York is favored to win tomorrow, owing in large part to the New York-Puerto Rico connection and affection for the Bill Clinton administration. A recent poll by El Vocero, a San Juan newspaper, had Clinton ahead by 51 percent to 38 percent over Obama. But because of the way the 55 delegates are apportioned, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois could add a sizable number of delegates to his count even if he loses.

10. getting all excited for a place that can't even vote in the GE....sorry about
their (and Hillary's) luck.

First we get "Press 1 for English" and now we get "Vote Hillary in Puerto Rico for President of the United STATES"...

Give me a break! (Sorry, but that is one of my Right Wing Talking Points that makes me a "Centrist".....)

20. What, you'd rather have "press 1 for Spanish, press 2 for English"?
This is, and always has been, a multi-language country. Whenever there is an influx of immigrants, their language becomes a 2nd language in many parts of the country. Did you know that in New York at the beginning of the last century there were 32 daily papers in Yiddish?

This, too, will pass.

21. well, when my Grandma came from Czechoslovakia, we didn't press 1 for
Slovak. I know where you are coming from...I just thought I'd point it out that why should we care about some place that can't vote yet today? I'm not against them becoming a state, but then and only then should they hold such an important place in OUR elections. Until then, take stand in line....

11. 55-45
I think her voting rights comment will cost her votes because that is a signal for statehood which over half the territory opposes.

He went there for a day. Hillary has spent more than 5 days. She's visited almost every major town. I mean, I want her to lose but she's done her homework down there. I'm following this primary closely- after all, I was born and raised there, and most of my family is still there. I know what I'm saying.

23. I have nothing against Puerto Rico (or Guam) at all but
I don't understand why a territory who has no say at all in the GE gets to voice their opinion on the nominee.

Give them a full vote or nothing, but this seems kid of back-asswards.

Clinton 55% - Obama 45%.

Hillary will not win enough votes for it to put the outcome in any doubt. She will concede by Friday.

25. Of course she'll win by a landslide. She has the hispanic vote. But....
more voters have voted for Obama.

Everyone is entitled to support the person of his/her choice. Democracy.

I wonder if Clinton will say that Puerto Rico doesn't matter, since they can't vote in the GE, and after all, it's really only the 5 big states with the most electoral votes that matter?

27. Whatever, I know Hillary likes to feel special
So she can crow about another victory, while Obama is gracious. And then two days later she'll lose two states in landslides and make an a** of herself.
