"We don't need and certianly DO NOT want your vote." Some Obama supporters really make it hard
and one of the three who told us this is an elected party official.

1. What the fuck are you talking about?
You seem to be making things up. Not bending over for whatever insane demands the Clinton campaign happens to make is not saying 'we don't want your vote'.

17. Agreed. What the fuck are you pulling this out of?
I'm going to have to assume thin air... or at worst somewhere else.

2. I have never heard such whiny belly aching from the losers in 36 years in the party.
Good God, have a little self respect.

You vote for someone because you prefer their politics, not because their supporters kiss your ass until you feel sufficiently mollified.

If you can't talk without whining, take a break until you can.

11. I was for Dean in 2004.
Guess what? I got over it, and Kerry had my full support. I've never seen anything like this.

13. THANK YOU! Jesus, I am tired of this crap.
Yours is the best and freshest post I have seen here in a long time.

As Harry Truman said, “I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it's hell.”

From here on out, that's where I'm going.

Thanks again. If you ever get to Maryland, I buy.

Dammit.

5. What preceded them telling you that?
Because quite honestly, the only time I've told a Clinton supporter that I didn't want her vote was after she delivered a racist tirade at me.

I don't know what you said, but if three people have said that to you, you might want to examine yourself.

8. I don't understand this
I read post on here defending Hillary on how she votes the same as Obama in the Senate and the only difference is she's more experienced and three threads later I read threats to vote for McCain.

It boggles my mind.

9. People who use their vote as leverage deserve this.
If you're not one of those people, then it was totally out of line.

Building a bridge involves both sides. There are plenty of us willing to extend the olive branch to people actually willing to receive it.

12. It isn't about an olive branch and it isn't about DU
or the Obama supporters here.

10. So we know what happened. In a narrow sense, anyways.
Now we just need to know who, where, when, how, and why. Can you fill us in?

15. If Obama supporters are saying these kinds of things to voters they DO need
then they should pack it up and forget about beating McCain in the fall. This smugness astounds me.

All McLame has to do is cut into a sizable portion of the Democratic coalition, and he's in the White House. If Obama is giving away large swaths of the Democratic electorate, he'd better get used to his safe Senate seat.
