I Love It That Obama Is Taking A Symbolic Dump On The GOP Convention Site Tuesday
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 08:08 AM by JimGinPA
Obama, ready for nod, targets McCain

Sen. Barack Obama, emboldened by his near-grasp of the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, is taking his campaign against Republican Sen. John McCain - and with him, the party's incumbent President Bush - to a pointed, new level.

"We've seen this movie before: a leader who pursues the wrong course, who is unwilling to change course, who ignores the evidence," Obama said of McCain and by inference Bush at a campaign stop Saturday in South Dakota, scene of one of the party's final primaries thisTuesday.

McCain has said he'd rather lose an election than lose a war, and Obama is attempting to make the Arizona senator pay for his allegiance to Bush's war policy.

-snip-

So confident is Obama of capturing the party's nomination once the final primary contests are finished this week that he is planning a Tuesday evening rally in St. Paul, Minn., at the site where McCain will officially become the GOP's nominee. The choice of Minnesota is seen as a way to aggressively seize the offensive in taking the general election campaign to the Republicans.

I hope that you get what you want--lose the election.

6. Too bad he will lose both

McBush has already lost the war but is just too slow to realize it yet.

and come November he will lose the election as well. 0 for 2!

12. I'm just dying to know who on his campaign is a Sun Tzu fan.
His mental game during this campaign has been incredible.

13. Indeed. That's what has won me over, the amazing jiu jitsu of his campaign.
I was indifferent at best, scornful at worst, until about 2 weeks ago. I knew I wanted Hillary defeated (I have fervently despised the Clintons for many years), but I was rather unhappy that only Obama was left on the field to do it.

But what I've witnessed, while Hillary has degenerated into Norma Desmond, is someone with amazing political smarts -- mad skilz and mojo. I'm now totally won over.

He floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee.

Peace,
sw

14. That's just crude. He's telling the GOP, "All your base are belong to us."
As another poster above stated, he's marking his territory, like any good Alpha male.

He's telling the GOP, "I don't fear you."

You gotta love a guy like that.

:D
