one jack russet terror has the combined energy of a full kindergarden class just before school vacation. That ain't Stephie.

Sometimes, he has this deer in the headlights look, while at others, he really does have that weaselly look.

50. He reminds me of an android from a Star Trek show.
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 12:53 PM by Hart2008
The original series where Nurse Chapel's former beau turns out to be an android.

The androids copied the man and then killed him, because the android was more perfect than the original.

George is like that android.

Superficially he is flawless.

He just lacks a heart.

52. If someone shoots George with a phaser we can see the wires under the plastic skin.
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 03:11 PM by Hart2008
That is how the Star Trek, "What Are Little Girls Made of?", episode ended. Nurse Chapel sees the wires and becomes horrified.

The Korby android tells her, "I am NOT a computer. Test me. Ask me to solve any... equate... transmit... Christine, Christine, let me prove myself. (holds up his circuit-exposed hand) Does this make such a difference?"
Nurse Chapel:"Don't you see, Roger? Everything you've done has proved it isn't you."
Korby:"I am Roger Korby!"

- Korby and Christine "
http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/What_Are_Little_Girls_Made_Of%3F

She probably spent enough time using artificial devices for self pleasure on that starship, that she wasn't interested in a walking android to love. (Edit to add that I just found the web link and Nurse Chapel was engaged to Dr. Roger Korby.)

I think that it was after that that she got the hots for Mr. Spock.

Yeah, he was cold, had pointy ears, and green blood, but at least he was real.

At the end of the day, George S. just doesn't seem real.
