Not a Clinton supporter but I got really made at both Jesse Jackson Jr. and Elizabeth Edwards for calling her "Mrs. Clinton" instead of Senator Clinton. It seemed to me that everyone else was called by their most recent professional title and hers is current.

15. Imagine for one second what they would say if an Obama supporter called her Mrs. Clinton. |
|
They would burn the country down screaming sexism.
Odd.
My fav part of the interview with the Wolf is when he said "we're ahead in the popular vote by 500,000 votes in all the primaries held since March."
So, the primaries (and caucuses) held BEFORE March should not count.

He is an idiot. I don't know why, but when her refers to her as "Mrs. Clinton" it gets my feminist hackles up. She is a member of the Senate for Pete's sake. Could he at least call her "Ms."?

20. I've known my Congressman, Governor, State Rep and State Senator |
|
and Board of Supervisor members all since before they were elected to their posts, and yet when I run into Governor Culver or Congressman Braley I am able to call them by their titles not their first names or previous titles. She's been Senator Clinton for some time now - almost as long as she was 'First Lady' or 'Mrs. Clinton' for ickes' purpose. If it's habit - it's BAD habit.

I saw him on one of the Sunday morning shows a while ago---he was wearing a gold and brown checked sport coat with a blue and white tattersal shirt! Jeez, even Einstein managed to dress better than that.
I know this doesn't have much of anything to do with the campaign, but he's a senior Clinton staffer. Is it too much effort to get him outfitted in something non-ridiculous?

|
It's nothing unusual to refer to a sitting Senator with "Mr." or "Mrs."
If he called her Hillary, but called every other Senator Mr. or Sen.... that's a different story.

And I think a Senator should be called 'Senator' when a person is talking about them in public (with obvious allowances for her husband, daughter, mother, etc.). Especially when the person who ran their Senatorial campaign is doing the talking x(
That's what I think.
