Ickes is kind of like Mr. Burns. He makes no bones about being a villain. In the political theater we witnessed yesterday especially, Ickes played his part pretty well.

I don't agree with him or appreciate the intellectual dishonesty he engages in. But every drama has a villain. And he doesn't pretend to be everyone's friend offering rainbows and unicorns.

Now Bill Nelson. He WILL piss on your boots and say it's raining. He WILL pretend to be your friend. He is the kind of politician I loath. Many pols put on an act. Even Nelson's act is phony.

Reading his name, I always thought it was pronounced "eyekes". You couldn't write it better than this.

2. Exactly. Even his name has a pay-off. Is there a better name since Dusty Fargo?

3. Icky is your classic WEASEL. Nelson is more of TV evangelist GOOBER.
I cannot listen to or look at Nelso without thinking "what is wrong with you?!"

4. Bill Nelson reminds me too much of a southern fundie preacher.
I know he's a dem, but his style is a reflexive turn-off for me.

Don't care much for Ickes, either. Total slimeball.

5. Ickes has done this kind of shit lots of time..........
he is known for his fights. He even voted for the no delegates rule on Michigan to begin with.

Just another hired gun for the Clintons. I am liking the melt down of her supporters.

Not to the point of breaking a sweat. But still, he squirmed.
