Obama's church never got anybody killed.
H. Clinton's cowardice on the IWR vote helped kill hundreds if thousands.

Yet, in a Nation founded on a pillar of religious freedom, I only see faux outrage from the H. Clinton supporters about Obama's choice of church.

2. Stop screeching about Obama's church, which never got anybody killed.
I thought the point was fairly obvious.

A refresher course in reading comprehension might help.

5. Actually, it probably did ....
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 11:40 AM by avenger64
... by teaching kids that the only wrong emanated from America or whites, some probably used this as an excuse for behavior that led them into trouble - dealing drugs or gangs. I imagine some of these probably died.

This culture of victimization is a major problem in our country. And we need to shift the war on terror to a war on gangs.

10. Actually
If you knew anything about the church and their outreach to kids in gangs you'd eat those words...however your ignorant.

The same could be said about white churches that preach patriotism as a biblical virtue and urge their followers not to question the authority of that and those kids go to war and die and kill people.

Same logic same connecting of the dots.

..."If you knew anything about the church and their outreach to kids in gangs you'd eat those words." Gotta fill up the collection plate somehow, I guess.

"The same could be said about white churches..." You're a racist.

12. Seeing I was a member of a white church
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 12:14 PM by Jake3463
like the one I said and am whiter than the snow I'm speaking from experience of being in a white church. I've also belonged to a mix congregation of whites, AA, and Puerto Ricans.

BTW Jesus got most of his followers killed when he started the church. Only one of his disciples lived into old age. Is Jesus responsible for their deaths or am I an anti-semite now becuase Jesus was Jewish?

Do you know anything about Christianity or are you spouting.

13. BTW
Associating black people with gangs is kind of racist don't you think?

So they go to a sermon start hating whitey and go out and kill whitey is what you think.

From your state flag I kind of know the perspective you are coming from.

6. "I trust Hillary to end the war in Iraq"

(...)

"Hillary Clinton is the candidate with the strength and experience to bring about the change that California families need," said Rep. Woolsey. "I trust Hillary to end the war in Iraq, bring our troops home quickly and safely, and regain our nation’s standing around the world."

Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey is serving her eighth term representing all of Marin, and most of Sonoma County.

As Co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Congresswoman Woolsey is a vocal and visible leader on progressive issues, particularly those dealing with children and families. A passionate and outspoken opponent of the Iraq war, she has helped move public opinion against President Bush’s failed Iraq policy. She introduced the first resolution calling for our troops to be brought home and convened the first congressional hearing on military exit strategies. The San Jose Mercury News recently called her "the unofficial matriarch of the movement in Congress."

7. Obama's church got just as people killed as Obama'sa church did.
That's the truth.

Because neither got anyone killed.

If you think otherwise, explain t mne how Hillary's vote killed anybody.

But I warn you. Be sure you know the details of what you're talking about before you make such a hateful, baseless accusation.

14. Along with other cowards in Congress, Clinton's vote yes for the IWR gave madman Bush a loaded gun
to invade Iraq. Suffice it to say, anyone who voted yes was a coward or an idiot. Most Democrats in Congress voted no. The vote resulted in the unjustified attack and wrongful killing of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and the needless deaths of thousands of American servicemen.

Please inform me how that vote did not get people killed. Don't give me hypotheticals. Tell me how that vote did not get people killed. You claim yourself some kind of expert so please, educate me. Tell me how Bush would get around the War Powers Act for his so-called pre-emptive invasion without authority from Congress.
