Poll question: Who have the attacks on Clinton helped most?
Parts of the left have been attacking Clinton relentlessly for months, but to no avail. Instead of listening to their insults, she is getting more and more indignant or acting like a trapped animal who believes conceding is more dangerous than fighting. Yet, the attacks continue.

3. You should
The problem is that this poll is intended to get Obama supporters to think about the consequences of their attacks, ant this forum has far more Obama supporters, including people like me who thinks we need to start wooing Clinton supporters, even those who claim they will vote for McCain.

6. Since another poll asked who was the most divise person in history
and Hilary was an option, I question tghe motives behind your concern about this "flamebait."

12. My motivations are good
I've been pretty consistent in arguing that Obama supporters must embrace Clinton supporters if we want him to win the GE. If people like Gore and Kerry could not beat Bush, there's no guarantee that Obama can beat McCain without uniting the Democratic Party. And what does that mean? It means finding a way to unite Clinton and Obama supporters. I'm far more for Obama than I am against Clinton.

11. the hell wooing Clinton supporters.
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 12:10 PM by bowens43
if they are stupid enough or spiteful enough to think that voting for McCain, against their own self interests, is a good idea, the hell with them. You need to keep in mind that we at DU and especially those at pits like hillaryis44 make up a small and very insignificant part of the electorate. This isn't the real world, it's not even close.

2. Clinton isn't staying in the race because she was attacked by...
...opponents and she wouldn't have left the race if she wasn't.

I don't understand the question.

4. Since she is only a disgruntled Senator from NY
it doesn't matter, one way or the other.

5. "Attacks" on Clinton? Like what, when she made up fiction and got called on it?
When she or Bill stuck their feet in their mouths and got called on it (hard-workin' white people, Jesse Jackson, McCain would make a better President, etc.)? When she was the only major Presidential candidate in recent memory who brought up assassination in reference to campaign strategy? Those aren't "attacks", just because the press reported it and people reacted. "Attacks" are when the media constantly replays clips of people you know, who are not representative of your campaign, who say stupid things--and then the media and your opponents blame you and insist you answer for it.
