At this point, the only thing that can prevent Obama from winning in Nov |
|
is Hillary Clinton's ego. Time for her to show some public support for the Democratic nominee.

1. The thing that can prevent Obama from winning is us voters - its up to us |

If people vote for McCain or don't vote - the outcome is their fault and they deserve 4-more years of Bush and are at least partly responsible for the results of a McCain presidency. Too bad they may bring those of us who vote democrat down with them.

7. Will Obama open the borders and declare amnesty? |

Republicans fear that. McCain might too...but they can't face that.

3. I'm really not counting on her and I don't think others should either. |

She and Bill would rather be King and Queen of the Democrats in exile than be one of hundreds in the land where there is a President Obama.
We are going to have to figure out a way to do this despite her.

4. There are any number of things that could prevent it. |

A meteor, for example. Demonic possession. Spontaneous human combustion.
...any number of things...

He has UNSEATED an ANOINTED successor to the throne and de-fanged the DLC, all on the tide raised by $25.00 a piece donations of the PEOPLE.
What he has done, and what WE have done is MIRACULOUS!!!

9. There are PLENTY of things that can stop Obama from winning. |
|
They are called average voters -- people who, unlike us, don't follow politics closely.
I was talking with one of them the other night -- a woman with three college degrees who is an education professional (pretty high level in this area). When I said the choice looked like it would be between McCain and Obama, she said she would never vote for Obama because he was a radical Muslim.
She wouldn't hear any challenge to that thinking, telling me that the web sites I get my information from are all pro-radical or liberal media. And of course she never considered that being a Muslim should have nothing to do with a person's suitability to be president. American voters choose by EMOTION. Sometimes god emotion, sometimes bad, but always emotion.
If people with advanced degrees are susceptible to the kind of attack politics that killed off Gore, Kerry and Clinton, what makes anyone here think those same Rovian tactics won't work -- aren't ALREADY working -- on Obama?
