9. Ain't that the truth?!
I'll tell you something; he's crazy if he doesn't. With the popular vote and all, choosing someone else would be totally ludicrous. :eyes:

17. Really?
With a single digit lead (6 points) and six more months for people in Colorado to make up their minds--that and all of the politics that are going to be thrown around, because lets face it, the REAL game hasn't even started yet--and you have that much faith? Don't bet the farm on that, if I were you. And, when was the last time Colorado went Democrat--especially consistent with Presidential elections. ;) http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/colorado/election_2008_colorado_presidential_election ">Rasmussen Reports

14. Remember, Barak cut his teeth on Chicago politics. Any candidate that
can survive that pressure cooker should not be underestimated.

18. She might distract from his agenda. I think she should stay in the
Senate. She's a policy wonk.

15. She undermines the idea of changing Washington, which is central to his message.
They are poor match. Also, Hillary doesn't add any national security creds to the ticket, she doesn't add any foreign policy creds to the ticket, and she doesn't add any executive experience to the ticket. The things she does well - Obama already does well himself. The only thing she brings with her is a lot of baggage and the small percentage the die hard Clinton supporters that don't care about policy issues and were supporting her for reasons that had nothing to do with issues important to the Democratic Party. While there are such people, and they have been extraordinarily loud in recent weeks, they represent a tiny fraction of the Clinton coalition.

My guess would be that Obama will be looking for somebody he can work well with first and foremost, he will be looking for somebody that enhances his message (as opposed to detracts from it), he will be looking for somebody that has different experiences and a different background to add diversity and strength to the ticket, and yes - he will be looking for somebody that can add votes to his campaign, but there are a lot of people that can do that.

13. It's time for that poor guy to go off somewhere for a nice rest
Apparently he has put together an "enemies list" a la tricky dick, and he whines about these enemies at length to anybody who'll listen.

This article makes him look like a paranoid crazy:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10715.html

And the picture with the article is a little scary:

Ironically the group he places at or near the top of his enemies list is MoeOn.org which IIRC was created to defend his sorry ass against impeachment after he lied about having oval sex in the oral office.

(I realize its from that POS politico.com but I think it fairly reveals his mental state)

20. Bill is a loose cannon. I love the guy, but he can be a turd in the punch bowl
at time. I think he helped kill Hillary's chances. He became the story, not her.
