1. and Clinton still does better against McCain
She beats him by 2, Obama beats him by 1.

So, after all this shopping, we've got two crappy candidates who can barely eke out a "victory" in a match-up five months out. What a deplorable display of blinkered special-interest selfishness and demagoguery; it shouldn't even be close.

5. It sure is.
Once a nominee is declared, the matchup with McCain will change. Plus, the matchup poll will change a lot before November.

7. I'm SOOOOO happy we're going with a second rater like Obama.
It would be TERRIBLE to have the BEST candidate in the race....

12. Don't like democracy? Should we go with the will of the minority of the people? Like dictatorships?
You made your case for 'why' he's a second rater. The people didn't buy it. Obama won. Don't like it? Tough.

8. Wow, one point difference.
If it was three times that, it would almost be outside the margin of error! :eyes:

13. Theres error in those polls
Polls have shown that when they ask about an Obama/McCain and Clinton/McCain match up McCain fairs way better than if they just ask about a single Democratic candidate. The idea being that when asked about both candidates, supporters of either Hillary or Obama (who would vote for either) lie about it to drag down the opposite primary candidate

16. Oh wow!!!! Let's overturn the will of the people because both of them are within the
margin of error because of Hillary's hateful @ss! If she had quit when it was clear she would not win then we would not be at this point. No, she had to drag us through months of hell and she still is not going to win.

6. Ramussen shows Obama with only a 5% lead over Clinton. Both polls show McCain over Obama.
I expect Obama to be the nominee, and I will hold my nose and vote for him, but I believe he's a weaker Democratic candidate in the GE.

And I still believe that our chances of taking back the White House are even worse without Clinton as his running mate.

10. you should be happy. Now Hillary will have free time. You could elect her President of the Ozarks.
Hell, you could even make a Passion PLay about her trials and tribulations.

and a giant Hillary of the Ozarks Statue would be nice...
