Hey monkies, there WILL be party unity once the nominee is chosen. |

Sorry folks but you can't deny human nature and hundreds of millions of years of evolution. You all "think" you can't support Obama or even the other way around. However, this is a perfectly natural response to in-group/out-group bias. Thus far we have two groups working at odds, it is a fundamental aspect of human nature that resentment, anger, and outright hatred builds toward the other group.
But the good news is this. Once the presumptive nominee is chosen and the runner-up concedes, then we have a common enemy and common goals. Then a little bit of magic occurs. And that magic is that no matter how deep the hatred and despair is, it will naturally go away. Some will force themselves to cling to their anger out of spite but by and large human beings are prone to put aside differences when they sense a common identity and a common foe.
Obama and Clinton are here ------> . .
McCain is way down and over here ----------------------------------------------------------------------> .
Do the math.

1. I was a Dean supporter in 2004. The guy at the very BOTTOM of my list was |
|
John Kerry.
I donated to Kerry, campaigned for Kerry, put out signs for Kerry, and overall did my damndest for Kerry, even though at the time he became the presumptive nominee I wanted nothing to do with Kerry.
