SD Editorial board endorses Clinton (the one where she spoke about June primaries)

Editorial: Clinton is top candidate for Dems

Her mastery of complex policy detail is broad and deep, and her experience as a senator and former first lady matches that.

Obama is justifiably credited as a powerful speaker, but Clinton holds her own easily. As those who have attended her South Dakota rallies can attest, she is quick on her feet and energetic. She frames her ideas clearly in speeches and answers questions with genuine directness.

Her resilience and determination never should be questioned. She has met or overcome every challenge or roadblock in her way, and there have been many. Her determination to carry the nomination process through to its real conclusion has perhaps earned her a grudging respect from those who would never support her.

Clinton might not win this race. In fact, it's a long shot. But whatever some might say, the race is not over, and her name is on the ballot. Win or lose, she's also the best Democratic candidate for South Dakota.

6. "she has met every challenge and road block in her way"
She is a fighter, that is for sure.

I think it is justice that the editorial board where she made the statement that was blown up and twisted and distorted and then used to vilify her is the same board who endorsed her. They could see through the talking-point crap.

7. It is amazing to me that there were dozens and dozens of posts mocking
Clinton when she was interviewed by this editorial board. And now that she was chosen by them, not one Obama supporter responds...they are too busy attacking Clinton to see that their vitriolic hatred was misplaced.

8. No, quite frankly some of us just don't want to bother anymore
Hillary's lost, the only question now is whether she and her supporters will tear the party apart in the death throes of the campaign. Editorials from notoriously conservative papers now that the primary process is virtually done don't mean a damn thing. But hey, I understand, the Hillary campaign is suffering from so many losses, you get your good news where you can.

With the exception of Oregon, every other "blowout" in the PacNW every place west of the Mississippi River (aka "the West") was from the crockuses.

11. Bul;lshit. Why hillbots persist in telling that easily dispelled fairy tale is beyond me.
Try these states on for size, hillbot:

Virginia
Georgia'
Alabama
South Carolina
Maryland
Wisconsin
Delaware
D.C.
Vermont

All blowouts, all primaries. And that's not even the full list.

can't stand the idea of Obama having to actually campaign? We should have just fallen at his feet?

16. Don't count on Oregon for Obama...
My county, Klamath, in south central Oregon has about 17,000 Repugs and 10,000 Dems registered to vote.

In our recent primary:

Clinton: 52.03%
Obama: 44.33%
McCain: 84.44%
Paul: 11.99%

And, thats with many of our Repugs hating their own pary for what they have done to the country.

Klamath County:

Urban/Rural/many small to tiny towns. One city of 45,000.

Obama may have won the primary for the Dems, but it is very unlikely that he will win the GE here.

18. Sure...
I don't think I've seen a single poll out of OR in which McCain was leading Obama. The most recent one I've seen has Obama leading McCain by 14-percentage points.
