8. You saw a different meeting than I did. |
|
They weren't "upheld", the rules committee realized they were wrong in taking all the votes away and backed down from their extreme position.
But then, over 4 votes, they interjected themselves above a certified election of a state, using the excuse that the vote was tainted because THEY TAINTED IT.
Most were so blinded by their political choice that they did not see the ramifications of their actions, nor did they see the gross injustice that will contribute to more disunity in the party, and potentially votes in Novemeber because of it.
For four delegates (2 actually, when halved).
They should have taken away Clinton's argument.

and all should be permanently removed from that committee for being dipshits to not know what was going to happen or for being spineless and going along with the dipshits.
I am glad they backed down yesterday, but it wouldn't have been a big issue in the first place if they had just followed their own rules.

She (he?) is obviously upset because all the delegates weren't parceled out the way Hilary Clinton wanted. And I find it offensive, being married to a veteran, being the daughter of a veteran and the sister of a man currently serving in the armed forces to equate a rules debate and decision (whether you believe it to be right or wrong) with the death of so many sailors and the destruction of the base at Pearl Harbor.

The day that a fucking decision was made on a fair way to parcel out delegates equates in your mind to the destruction of Pearl Harbor and the day that 2388 people lost their lives? That isn't even including the thousands wounded who later died and the destruction of the Navy ships that day.
Wow, you people are REALLY stretching things now.

Aren't in it for the good of the party or the country, they're in it for Hillary and her naked ambition. They are willing to sacrifice the good of the party and the country on the alter of her ambition and greed. May 31st is when that became apparent to all, I hope you're proud.
So are you going to vote for Obama in the fall, or will you be another petulant Hillary supporter, voting for McCain out of spite?

Because unless Clinton supporters count differently than other people--an argument I wouldn't put past you--those 16 odd million will simply have to exercise the maturity of knowing that in elections, sometimes you lose.

21. No, it's the day that they upheld the rules of the party |
|
I realize that in Hillary-world, rules are simply inconveniences to be ignored, but out here in reality we try to adhere to them.
What's really sad about you Hillary supporters is that if the rules were truly to be upheld, neither FL or MI would get any delegates. But Hillary and her supporters have managed to whine and cry enough that the party decided to come halfway and compromise. Yet you whiners are saying that despite this gesture of compromise and generosity, you still think that you're being screwed. Get the fuck over it, you're like a small child, one who is going to whine and cry until you get what you want. Just a bunch of whining, crybaby losers. If you can't suck it up, realize that you're not going to get your way, then just fucking piss off. I'm tired of dealing with your ilk, nothing is going to satisfy you until Hillary has stolen the nomination, and I'm sorry, that's just not going to happen. So go fucking cry somewhere else, I'm tired of it.
And frankly, if you want to go and cut your own throat by voting for McCain or third party, or stay home in the fall, go ahead and fucking do it. I'm tired of mollycoddling a bunch of whiny crybabies who are never going to be satisfied and who would sooner backstab you than support you. So go ahead, take your ball home and sulk, at least you'll be out of the way and we adults can go about the business of beating McCain unimpeded.

This primary has been quite illuminating for me. It demonstrated how dishonest Senator Clinton IS
She voted for the IWR, probably not out of principle, but because she thought it would gvie her a political advantage She voted for the Kyle/Lieberman ammendment for the same reason God knows why she voted for the use of Cluster Bombs in civillian areas
After her campaigns demonstration after the rules committee, I could never trust her to keep her word
