I Can't WAIT Till I Don't Have To Listen To The Likes Of Tubbs-Jones
Wasserman-Schultz, Lanny Davis, Terry McCauliffe, Harold Ickes, Wolfson and every other one of these people who come on TV and insult our intelligence with their delusional arguments. Wednesday night and I'll be happy if I NEVER see or hear them again.

1. Tubbs Jones should be back in her district
mending fences. She's up for re-election in 2 years and will have a primary challenger.

7. The primary is already over
She's just up against the republican at this point. Jake is saying she'll have a harder chance in the primary next go around.

9. Do you think she'll run into any trouble or serious competition? I don't
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 03:08 PM by Doityourself
particularly care for her..never did. She reminds me of an old colleague, who over talked people and wouldn't shut the fuck even when it was someone else's turn to speak..even in meetings and conferences!

10. Because she is well liked and respected for her commitment to her district.
(And nobody is going to hold a grudge for her support of Senator Clinton.)

15. Hmm...interesting...are there reports that show that?

If I remember clearly her district voted overwhelming for Obama and she later stated it didn't matter. Why would her district still respect her?

17. Because....
Common sense would dictate that her support for Clinton over Obama would not be the overriding issue that primary voters would go the the polls for in 2010.

Especially if she has a good working relationship with Obama.

Or if Clinton becomes the VP.

5. She is up for re-election EVERY two years.
And I look forward to that primary challenge.

(He/She will get their ass handed to them.)

.....Remember before we all got HOPEFUL and became CHANGEMONGERS.....

DU actually liked Stephanie Tubbs-Jones. They respected her greatly for 1/6/05.

Weird what can happen in such a short period of time.

***HINT*** She is the same woman she was before this primary season.

20. Mighty broad brush there....
Richardson was my first pick.

I volunteered for Kerry and had a fundraiser in 04.

KO is not an elected official and some Clinton people don't like him because he and Maddow devolved into O'Reilly & Greta this Primary season.

and Kennedy is an American hero and a Democratic Party legend.

23. Well, I guess I know which side YOU are on.
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 04:19 PM by BerryBush
Me? I'm from the district, I voted for Obama, and I don't think Tubbs Jones respects my choice. I know she was decent before this, but she is not worth talking to when it comes to Hillary--I can only presume becomes she has been promised some juicy appointment in return for her loyalty to the Clintons.

As for KO and Maddow, they did NOT "devolve into O'Reilly and Greta this Primary season" in the eyes of anyone but the craziest of the crazed Hillary fanatics. THEY didn't change. The Hillary nuts only THINK they did, because they called Hillary on it when she violated the principles of basic decency just to get herself elected.

Obviously, you're one of those in OH-11 who's delighted Stephanie is for Hillary because you are too. No wonder we see things very differently.

25. I am not from Ohio
Although I love to visit.

Boxer and Tubbs-Jones are my true heroes in the Congress.

I just can't imagine that people would give up a great Rep with an awesome record just because she fought passionately for a candidate that got nearly half of the delegates and nearly half of the votes of people all across the US.

unfortunately, you can still hear their voices on the radio and YouTube, but the mute button on my laptop is easier to find than the d@mn TV remote. ;)

11. Stephanie will be alright. Who I feel sorry for is Sheila Jackson-Lee.
The people in her district are way pissed off at her.

She's a good representative, so I hope come November the fences can be mended.

12. Just heard her on MSNBC and it was like a female version of Harold Ickes.
Nuts! They see absolutely nothing wrong with giving Hillary all her votes won in Michigan's illegal primary election, but don't care if Obama gets any because he "voluntarily took his name off the ballot." Yes, yes he did. Why? Because he interpreted "not participating" to mean you take your name off the ballot and you don't participate. If anyone broke the rules, it was Clinton and other candidates who left their names on the ballot. Reminds me of misbehaving kids who suddenly become stupid when confronted with the facts.

24. Indeed it was. Like a nightmare.
There's just no way Tubbs Jones makes any sense anymore. She was also very happy to double up with Tweety on the guy from Texas who drew a blank months ago on what Obama has accomplished, and laugh at him. Yet Tweety never asked her the same question about Hillary and put her on the spot the same way.

21. I am scared their egos will still
propel them to be on our airwaves spewing some duplicitous shit. These guys are such bitter losers, so power hungry that they won't fade away.

I fear that their Dem loyalty is questionable and plays second fiddle to their love of camera and microphone, and thus sadly, they will undermine Obama.
