...but the fact is, we really are within a few days of resolving this. Everything you're seeing today is just lights and glamor for the negotiating we won't see.

I have been one of the strong believers that Hillary would take this to the convention if she could. But, no matter what her surrogates say, that option has been taken off the table. It isn't Pelosi or Dean who have the power to do this. It's the entire party that would come down on her if she starts anything up after this week.

That's what the RBC meeting demonstrated... The Clintons are no longer in a position to get their way within the party.

There *has to be* a little sound and fury for the next couple of days. If people perceived Hillary to be going through the motions, it would sour the milk of unification.

Just try to enjoy the show. This is the part of the wrestling match where Obama allows himself to be hit in the back with a folding chair, so *everybody* will cheer loudly when he pins his opponent.
