The Year of Jubilee
I'm a liberal agnostic... was raised that way. I didn't go to Sunday School and only learned a few things as an adult.

One thing I remember though, is THE YEAR OF JUBILEE.

Every fifty years, in ancient Hebrew culture, all debts were forgiven, all the prisoners released. It was called the year of Jubilee. The time of forgiveness.

I'm declaring a personal "Year of Jubilee." Right now this is for fellow Democrats... that want a bigger tent... that want to win in November... that WANT to find common ground and reconciliation... that WANT TO GET THINGS DONE.

If that's you, I'm willing to listen, even when we disagree.

After November, I'm going to extend the same courtesy to ANY REPUBLICANS, that have come to resent the Neocon Junta and it's Juggernaut to ruin. If they want to find common ground and get America back on the right track, I'm willing to rigorously search for shared interests, and be willing, short term, to shelve our differences and hammer out some agreements.

It's not just time for Democrats to come together, it's time for Americans, inasmuch as we are able, to come together.

So, my ignore bin is empty. If you want to kick me down and slander my name... deride my deepest convictions... fuss and fight, carry on like the big dysfunctional family we are... well... let's get jiggy with it.

I'm here. I'll read it. I will try not to respond in kind.

peace out ya'all
