Poll question: Obama supporters, if your candidate does not get the nomination, who will you support?
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 04:41 PM by SarahBelle
I'm talking November here.

For the record, I voted for Kucinich in the primaries.

Clinton supporters, go here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6217288&mesg_id=6217288

7. Clinton -- unless
the DNC brings in a surprise nominee, in which case I will vote for him/her. Whoever the Dem nominee is, that's who gets my vote.

It's mathematically impossible for Clinton to get the nomination at this point.

17. I will vote for Barack Obama
There is no legitimate Hillary nomination at this point, and I will not support an illegitimate candidate in the Democratic party.

Thankfully, this will not be an issue.

21. I voted for Clinton in this poll, but even if Obama was somehow out of the race for nominee,
I doubt Clinton would become the nominee because her campaign has become too toxic and divisive.

John Edwards would likely re-enter the race for the nominee, and we'd likely hear something from Al Gore.

25. You're completely correct...
ever since she ENDORSED McCain over Obama she f*ed up. And it seems her disgruntled supporters will do the same...which is following the course she laid.

So is she divisive? With a capital D. All the hard feelings and risen emotions is due to her campaign and how people were responding to the negativity.

22. I'll support the Democratic Nominee. And Barack Obama is going to be the Democratic Nominee.
If the process, which is just about over, had turned out differently and Hillary Clinton had won it, I would vote for her.

But it didn't, she didn't, so it's moot.

I will vote for the Democratic Nominee.

And the Democratic Nominee is going to be Barack Obama.

24. Hillary Clinton. Those of you selecting other options need to consider what a McCain victory would
do to the country. We don't need an even more right-wing Supreme Court! If McCain wins, he has promised right wing justices in the mold of Roberts and Alito. My math tells me this will lead to 7 right wing justices against 2 who aren't. Plus, McCain is a big supporter of unnecessary wars. We need to stick together in November!

36. I will grudgingly vote for Clinton,
though it really will be a vote against McSame.

I honestly don't see much difference between Clinton and McSame, they both voted for the war, for Kyl/Lieberman, they both are owned by special interests and against the common people.

The ONLY reason I would vote for Clinton is that she might not screw us too bad on the USSC but even that isn't a sure thing.

38. Amazing that this poll has ZERO McShame votes so far....
And the opposite poll has 5 as of a couple of minutes ago.

Shows me that those Clinton supporters who voted McShame are unworthy to be here.

It also shows that Obama supporters are loyal to the Democratic Party.

41. Of course I would vote for the Dem nominee.
But I guarantee that my email would be no less for having a Dem in the WH.

I have my shoulder to the Overton window, and I am shoving it back closed to the corporations. HRC will hear from me, as would president Obama.

It only starts in Nov. 08. Goddess knows when this ends.
