Maine Democratic convention adds one delegate for Obama
AUGUSTA, Maine—Barack Obama picked up a national delegate from Maine on Sunday as the Democratic State Convention closed.

more stories like thisDelegates ratified the party chairman's nomination of Gwethalyn Phillips of Bangor, a former state party official, as an "unpledged add-on" delegate as specified in party rules. But Maine Democratic Party Executive Director Arden Manning said Phillips was recognized as an active Obama supporter.

Phillips, who played a lead role in the Maine presidential campaign of Bill Clinton in 1992, said in a telephone interview she has been involved with the Obama effort this time around, "in Penobscot County in particular."

Putting her in the Obama column brings Maine's national delegate total to 19 for Obama and 10 for Hillary Clinton, with three superdelegates not yet committed.

State party officials said a first round of voting for national delegates on Saturday determined the number that each presidential candidate received and that the results upheld the proportion of delegates that Maine voters elected at the party's February caucuses.

5. He didn't get a National Delegate
He did get a few state convention delegates but not enough of them to warrant a National Delegate.

7. and 1 super delegate today - 16 pledged from PR = magic number 48

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has picked up the support of Nevada superdelegate Yvonne Gates, nudging him closer to the nomination.

The former Clark County Commissioner and member of the national party's Rules Committee told The Associated Press late Saturday that she had been impressed by the Illinois senator's campaign.

"I have been admiring, just from afar, looking at the way they run the campaign. I have been pretty impressed with this operation," she said. "I think he would make a great president."

http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/06/superdelegate-endorsements-fro-sunday.html

28 prior to Tuesday's primary count would be somewhat comfy.

It is over, trying to speed up the process. NLT noon Wednesday.

10. In case HRC decides to move the goalposts to 2209
Obama needs EXACTLY 50% of all remaining delegates...supers, add-ons, edwards hold outs, to get to 2209 with MI and FL seated based on the RBC decision.
