There is some real respect for this kind of energy, not even misrepresented in the cartoon.

1. It reminds me of Bush and the GOP lemmings taking us over the cliff in Iraq

but I get your drift. And I appreciate her energy but I am afraid of where she might lead.

6. No more afraid than I. I have not supported her since her war vote in 2002,

At this juncture though, I simply wanted to say something positive in appreciation of her indefatigable ambition and drive to achieve her goal.

4. Of course not, silly....
what do you think is keeping her from crashing to the ground?

It's the wind under her skirt.

3. I'm older and white and female, but not bitter YET...also for Obama. I find
this aspect of Hillary a bit disturbing, personally. What is driving her at this point?
She seems like the heroine from a Greek tragedy or an opera...CRAZY.

5. Remember when parents say ...
"If your friends jump off a cliff, would you do it, too?"

This is what they're talking about.

8. Me too. (Older white bitter woman). But the energy
expended by my older white bitter men and women dem friends far exceeds this energy in that we are working none stop for our local candidates and we are positive in our actions and words. We NEVER speak negatively about our opposition despite the fact that many are dirtbags, we keep it on a level of cordial discourse and we are getting a lot of support for Dems. from both sides of the aisle. It takes a lot more energy to handle it this way and people seem to appreciate it and dare I say, respect it. We also have no choice, we live in a predominantely red district. We are making progress, though. You catch more flys with honey than you do with vinegar. Anyone working local political front lines during the past year is on to this and it will carry us into a Dem majority in 2009 from the bottom up. Anyone who goes into full attack mode will be doomned as we have already seen.

when the convention is over. And I saw some on the news today. I am for Obama. They feel like something is being stolen from their opportunity to see the first woman president. I feel bad for them, but they know that electing a woman "just because" is the wrong thing as well. I hope there won't be too much backlash from it.

I don't think any of the candidates will be able to change everything that is wrong in Washington, but getting a Democrat makes a huge difference in issues like FDA approval for drug trials based on embryonic stem cell research, social issues for the US and medical/reproductive issues, etc.

That is one helluva drawing in the OP.
