apologizers around here but anyone that has read that crap known as "The Ron Paul Report"; and is of sound mind, would conclude that he is a racist and an idiot.

31. I don't know I guess I take a man at his word and his vote
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 06:21 PM by cbc5g
He's got a clear voting record for equal rights and an end to the drug war (founded partly on racism). He would release thousands of nonviolent minorities from jail that were victims of the drug war. I've seen a lot of shit posted against him but I've never seen a quote from him or a video of him that proves that he is clearly racist. If you can find it with a link I'd appreciate it. I just don't think a libertarian magazine that has his name on it that had some nut write in it who was racist makes him racist. It's kinda like saying Obama is a terrorist for knowing William Ayers.

I can't stand RP on many issues because he would HURT this nation incredibly, but this gotcha crap and whisper email campaigns (like the obama is a muslim bullshit) founded on nothing has got to stop. I know many libertarians and libertarianism in itself is the anti-racist. But I can see how support from racists for him may make people think that he is one.

39. It was a magazine called the "Ron Paul Political Report" owned and edited by Ron Paul. If you're...
an editor and don't know what's going in your 8 page newsletter, then I have to question your judgment to run for something as complex as the government.

30. hahah
I was wondering if she was the same person. I don't understand how either Obama or Clinton supporters can be so blind as to vote for McCain just because their candidate doesn't win. 8 more years of Bush policies. However many Supreme Court justices seat (the Conservatives only need one more.

Does that mean that they believe that their candidates' policies are close to McCain's? Or do you think it means they are just stupid?

14. Well, there's more potential Clinton voters than Obama voters ...
... in the General Election, so the wise thing to do would be to select the candidate who can reach out to the independents. Statistically, that's Senator Clinton, and that's who the nominee should be.

19. Who said Obama supporters won't vote for her?
In 2 polls by the same person here on DU, ZERO Obama supporters have said they would vote McShame, but 6 Clinton supporters have said they would vote for McShame. Yes, this is a 'small' community but a diverse one and not one Obama supporter has vowed to vote GOP this November.
