Some Random Musings
1) It is clear that Obama won...He has spoken glowingly of Senator Clinton yet his supporters here continue to excoriate her...That suggests to me that they think he is insincere or that they only support him when it's convenient...

2)There has been an abundance of Bill Clinton's "cheating again" threads here...I do not countenance infidelity...As I tell my friends, if you want to be a playa, don't get married...But you have to have the I Q of a plant not to know Bill Clinton was a philanderer...Yes it's a character flaw but there are worse character flaws like being intentionally and gratuitously mean or hateful....

3) I suspect most people here voted for Clinton in 92 and 96 when only the most naive denied his infidelit(ies)... Why is it an issue now and not then? If it wasn't an issue then but it is now what does that say ? There's an old adage that if you want to find out what someone thinks about you get them angry at you and they will tell you...

4) I will vote for Obama because he has a (D) after his name and I couldn't look my African American friends in the eye if I didn't but it will be the most unenthusiastic vote I have ever cast...

5) I take being a Democrat seriously...In the 1998 election the Florida Secretary Of Agriculture* who was a Democrat crossed party lines to endorse Jeb Bush against Buddy McKay... I purposely left that part of the ballot blank...

6) I don't think the demonization of the Clintons in the end helps Democrats...It only legitimizes the Republican complaints against him which to me were mean spirited and bogus...

*my memory is a bit hazy but I believe it was the FL Sec Of Ag.

1. It might be wise for Democrats to follow the Eleventh Commandment
that Gerry Ford used to talk about--"Do not speak ill of another of your party." (paraphrased to make it general and not party specific)
