Hillary's speech was not a "fight to the Convention" speech. It was a "fight 'til Tuesday" speech.

I wouldn't worry, Obama supporters, about Hillary's "Let's keep fighting" speech. She didn't contest the decision made yesterday. She accepted the results as "wins" in MI and FL. Congrats to her on those wins. She also made a final plea to the SDs that she's "winning the popular vote" and "more electable" than Obama, but nothing indicating that she'll challenge the results if/when Obama DOES reach the number of delegates needed for the nomination. So don't worry-it'll be over Tuesday night, and she all but admitted it tonight.

2. I'm glad you agree. It looks like lots of people are freaking out like she's going to keep going...
I don't think so.

4. Good. Also, Jeffrey Toobin on CNN said it's not unusual for the loser to win the final primaries.
So for everyone saying this proves she's the better candidate doesn't know their history.

10. I saw her whole speech. I was waiting to see if she'd say something like,
"And we're going to the Convention to get ALL the votes counted!" Nothing but saying she WON MI and FL, therefore accepting the results.

7. that's not how i heard it all. Harold Ickes basically delivered a threat to appeal the Michigan
decision at the convention, claiming to directly represent Hillary Clinton.

It was UGLY, and I was dumbfounded at the spectacle of it all, esp. coming from Ickes the self-purported "itegrity" guy, well, at least back in the nineties.

she didn't repeat that tonight.

14. But remember that it's been pretty clearly established from
several sources that the Clinton campaign has no standing to challenge before the Credentials Committee. If they can't find a way to even get a hearing there's not much they can do there.

13. She'll flip on a dime
Her word is not her Bond.

How many times have we heard, " Oh HC is saying nice things now."

Then Bingo!

Pots and Pans start flying.

Wednesday morn will bring relief to most of us, and pain to some here also.

A Bittersweet ending.

17. Thanks. If you read many threads, you may think she's planning on going all the way to the
Convention. But don't worry-everything she said pointed to fighting to the end of the last primary and that's it. (Or until "someone" gets 2118 delegates.)

21. They just want it to appear that way. Fact is, I do not see anyone in my State contesting what
happened yesterday. Not Levin, nor even dumb Blanchard. Ickey would need a group from Michigan to contest this. He does not have it. And HE is Not from MY State. That prick can whine till the cows come home, Ain't gonna happen here.

20. That is what I thought too.. She wanted to sound strong but
did not give any clue that she may take this past Tuesday..
She left it kind of vague, which she must do for her supporters..

talking about how she's "winning the popular vote."
