As an Obama supporter, I so take back everything I have said about HRC supporters
I have defended you every way to Thursday. I have told people that we are united and it's just trumpeted up msm propaganda. But on Saturday at the Maine convention, I couldn't believe my eyes. You people are just bizarre. Do you really think you are supporting Hillary when you do stuff like this?

We were walking by the Somerset County
>bus to take delegates to the off site location after we met
>you and there was this elderly man we know looking for a ride.
>The guy is like 100 yo, handicapped and could barely stand.
>When he attempted to board the bus, he was told he couldn't
>get on it because he was an Obama delegate.
>
>The four of us spanned out trying to find the guy a ride. We
>were Penobscot delegates and were caucusing on site, but of
>course one of us would have volunteered to drive him. I went
>to the Obama table and the great staff there offered to drive
>him to his caucus spot. In the meantime, two of our party
>found the poor man a ride.
>
>I still can't believe the pettiness of it. If it has been
>reversed, I know the Obama bus would have found a seat for the
>man. Plus I feel so bad because of the humiliation this guy
>must have felt.

21. I've given up on them Emily. They don't realize that they are following a modern-day
Joseph McCarthy. They think they are ushering in a revolution.

So did the McGovernites.

The difference is that this was supposed to be our year. I can't believe the way that Obama has ruined our party with his campaign of hatred and disunity.

44. Oh the irony. How he has divided the party by winning!!! The hatred? Like saying that the elections
are similar to those of a third-world dictatorial country like Zimbabwer because the elections aren't going his way? Oh wait...

Nah it must have been the many times he has insulted Clinton and called her on her tactics- you know the guy is never gracious to her...

4. This is what divisive politics gets us.....decency and respect
is thrown out of the window for petty, selfish and destructive people like you have described.

I truly believe that not all Hillary supporters are this vindictive but the loud rude "supporters" are getting their 15 minutes of notice.

Kudos to the you and the other folks that helped the elderly gentleman.

That are going to get swept up in the Obamania purge.

Avoid casting the "petty" "selfish" and "destructive" stones in the glass house that DU has become.

31. I don't know about Maine..
but I was a Hillary delegate at the state convention in Missouri and the rules were crazy. Hillary delegates couldn't help hand out Obama delegate packets, and vice versa. There were roped off areas where only credentialed delegates for a specific candidate were allowed to enter. I suspect that it wasn't rudeness, but rules, or confusion over the rules that kept the man off the Hillary delegate bus, and those rules come from some level of the party, not the candidates.

To me the whole process was a waste of time, and incredibly inefficient. My impression was that whoever organized it didn't really understand the purpose or the process, so there was no direct path to a specific goal. Just a whole lot of rules and red tape. On the plus side, the night before there was free booze. Hmmmm...maybe THAT was the problem!

For what its worth, had I seen an Obama person trying to enter a restricted Hillary area, I would have helped them!
