Wow, I was shocked by the No Quarter blog
Edited on Sun Jun-01-08 11:56 PM by Canuckistanian
I used to go there often because I thought Larry Johnson had an excellent perspective on real national security issues.

No more.

The blog has been turned into a non-stop Obama bashfest, complete with slimes, innuendo and quotes from Fox News, especially with this Michelle Obama bullshit.

He even gives some love to fucking Roger Stone and Lee Atwater fer chrissakes.

Is this the kind of person HRC wants on her side?

2. Roger Stone started the anti-Hillary group "Citizens United Not Timid."
If any Hillary supporters want to support that idiot, go right ahead.

3. She has Rupertt Murdoch and also Karl Rove on her side as well
When Petraeus was at the Senate Building to give his report on the surge, he and she came out of the elevator together.

I got the feeling tha tthye had been giving each other the secret handshake, and she was telling him, "Now I am going to diss the war, but for political purposes only."

4. The funny part is that GOPers already think he's an idiot

I share with you this entertaining exchange from a mixed board I frequent (irrelevant portions snipped out)...

Topic by 'ILHP' << Smart guy but a bit too partisan for his own good
Bill Ayers & Obama
Is Obama deliberately hiding his long time relationship with this radical?
(Long message including long quotes from Larry Johnson's No Quarter blog).

Reply from 'Darkeone'
"Looks like you've fed right into the spin machine.

" Larry Johnson, a former counterterrorism official at the CIA and the State Department, predicted that the Republicans would seize on the Ayers case, and other Chicago relationships, to "bludgeon Obama's presidential aspirations into the dust.""

"ROTFLMAO

You mean, Larry Johnson, PARTISAN DEMOCRAT SPINNER who hasn't worked in the CIA for almost two decades (and only spent 4 years in there in the first place) and hasn't been a government employee since the first Clinton administration? The guy who was endlessly flogging the Plame non-issue? The prolific blogger on the DailyKos? That Larry Johnson?

You're offering HIS quotes as the height of impartial journalism?

Are you REALLY that stupidly partisan?"

Reply from (me)
"Er...Mark...that's the guy who wrote the article you're quoting in the OP. Yes, that Larry Johnson.
(Links etc. to quote from Larry Johnson in OP)"

Reply from 'ILHP'
"In the legal world, this is called "admission against interest."

If Johnson is digging up & publicizing this crap, it's not because it's some Republican plot... But rather because he sees the oncoming disaster of Obama as the Democratic candidate for president.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day..."

5. Swingin Roger?

Don't get me wrong. I got no problem with what adults do in their bedrooms. But, if you're going to work for the "family values" party, advertising for sex group partners on your own website is not the best of ideas.

8. No Quarter is a Klan rally disguised as a political blog.
It's for all of the putrid racist thugs who masquerade as Clinton supporters.
