Clinton Supporters -Help Shirley Golub defeat our "friend" Pelosi -and her 527 ads
Pelosi ethics appear to be showing just as they did in her "non impeachment" and her "neutral" pro-Obama stance during the primary.

Seems an "issue ad" 527 outside group is - "illegally" - coordinating with Nancy Pelosi's attempt to retain the congressional nomination in San Francisco on June 3. Such ads were made blatantly illegal under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002, UNTIL the currently stacked Supreme Court cut the heart out of that legislation last year. But these ads are still blatantly UNFAIR. Please help challenger Shirley Golub to fight back by making a contribution in the last 48 hours of this campaign.

Shirley needs just $25,000 more this weekend to really make a TV ad hit the air this weekend. Please help us to reach this goal.

Stop Bush and Pelosi Video:

Only by defeating Pelosi in the CA-08 Democratic primary on June 3 can we send a strong enough message to stop the latest installment of the Armageddon Express. And the only challenger she has in this election is Shirley Golub in San Francisco, standing in the way of more terrible death and destruction in Iraq - and more lack of ethics as she protects Bush from impeachment and undercuts progressive programs- and more treating of other women like Hillary like crap.

There is also a need for Phone Bankers

Phone Banking Volunteers: http://www.shirleygolub.com/volunteer.php

In the last election cycle, the Democratic so-called leadership ran away from any candidate talking about bringing the troops home now (indeed we can all recall how Pelosi and Ried ran to Obama - the fellow that promised out of Iraq in 16 months while his spokesperson was telling the EU that he really didn't mean it). These progressives that do the talk but then want to "change the atmosphere in DC by working with the GOP and getting blue dog and GOP love" must be replaced.

Shirley Golub for Congress should be a battle cry of every Clinton supporter.

2. Oh, get over yourself
Clinton lost, and there was no impeachment because the votes weren't there to convict in the senate, nor probably even to get it through the House. I am sorry if your petulance blinds you to political realities.

3. Are Clinton people REALLY that bad with money?
Edited on Mon Jun-02-08 02:37 AM by impeachdubya
Don't answer that.

Maybe they've never actually been to San Francisco, although they've read about it, and they know about those dreaded "San Francisco (wink wink) Liberals" that Obama gets together with to talk down about Reg'lar Merkins.

Because, erm, as a local let me inform you of something: Nancy Pelosi isn't going ANYWHERE.

So Sorry. My advice is to stick with the lost cause you've got, before striking out for new lost causes to donate to.

And if Hillary is really that bent out of shape about the Iraq War, she should APOLOGIZE FOR VOTING FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

6. Papau, please stay out of my district.
Nancy Pelosi is a flawed representative, but at least she actually does some work to represent us. Shirley Golub has her platform of issues, but not one of them relate to San Francisco. She's a generic protest candidate, and personally I feel San Francisco deserves better than that.

Nancy Pelosi is already going to be running against Cindy Sheehan in November, who has apparently discovered that she lives in San Francisco. While I have no objection to her running for Congres either, I think she might have started in her own district rather than parachuting into ours.

8. Nancy hasn't even showed her face in this district for nearly two years.
How does she represent us?

I'd love to know that.

San Francisco deserves better than its current orphan status.

asshat, die-in-office, reps. After a while they are ineffective because DC has swallowed them whole.

31. Undermining the woman who broke the glass ceiling?
Nancy Pelosi shattered the glass ceiling to become the first female speaker of the house. I thank and applaud her for that. And while there are a few issues I disagree with her on, I support this ground-breaking feminist and think she has done a great job keeping our party together. Why tear down our strong female democratic leaders? Sexism?
