Roger Stone? _______________?) plant an outrageous, fictitious rumor on the Internets that no legit media outlet can report on, as there is no "there" there... but the myth of the "tape" goes viral, and the blogosphere becomes so infected by this virus that THAT becomes the story that the MSM WILL report... therefore what was a rumor becomes widely disseminated in the public by virtue of the buzz, FUX puts it at the top of their broadcasts to cover ad nauseum and it becomes the daily topic du jour on such RW fare as Hannity, Bill "Sexual Harrassment" O'Reilly, Brit "Melted Face" Hume, etc., etc. etc.). Finally, Obama is FORCED to address this rumor but by then, the notion that it happened has already taken root in the minds of millions.

There is no tape, never was a tape... but that's not the point. The scumbags have done their dirty work for the MSM to pick up.

How do we counter this?
