Superdelegate (La. Democratic Party chairman) backs Clinton
Associated Press - June 2, 2008 11:04 AM ET

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The chairman of the Louisiana Democratic Party is throwing his superdelegate backing to Senator Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.

Party chairman Chris Whittington said he thinks Clinton is the better candidate to beat Republican Senator John McCain in the fall.
