Is it possible Hillary doesn't know???
It just suddenly occurred to me that Hillary, like Bush, has created a bubble around herself. She talks to her inner circle, it sounds as though she has a killer schedule, she may purposefully avoid newspapers and TV to not get discouraged with the types of comments that can be made, even in the "best" of circumstances.

Is it possible that her people have been telling her that the election is closer than it really is, in order to keep up her spirits, and she actually believes what she says??

I don't ask that flippantly, but there is no indication that her mind is going (except for the delusions here), so this thought arose out of the desire to find some rational explanation for her statements on the race which is "so tight".

5. Wel, it IS a valid question.
You have to question the reason that somebody in her position right now is talking about "winning".

I thought the suggestion that she was "insulated" was kind.

13. A "hillary lost her mind" post is someone trying to give the
power mad lying racist sexist bitter crone the benefit of the doubt.

2. She's surrounded by extremist nutbags, like Ickes.
She's showing piss-poor judgment by listening to them and letting them humiliate herself by pretending she still has a chance and that it's all gonna turn around any day now ... :eyes:

4. I've read where, although several of her staffers believe it's
time to concede, she and a close group of advisors really believe she can pull this off. Don't know if that's true or accurate, but that's what I've read.

7. It's likely her own team is afraid to tell her the truth. She doesn't respond well to truth.
She showed that in January, when her team failed to tell her she was out of money. That revealed a team that was afraid to give the boss bad news. Such situations arise when the boss is bad at hearing bad news. Good bosses insist on hearing bad news immediately. Bad ones berate those who give them the bad news.

Hillary is a bad boss, lousy with people, and so it is very likely she's believing her own bullshit. If this were the animated cartoon Southpark, they'd show Hillary and her top staff all smelling their own farts and being intoxicated by them.

9. No.
bush is happy to know only what he is told. I'm sure Clinton still opens a newspaper or turns on CNN once in a while.

She's not a dolt. She just wanted to run up "the popular vote" and earn an asterisk in history.

12. I think this is very possible!
There are so many hangers-on that are salivating for a Clinton Presidency again that they are giving her bad advice. They are counting on getting rewarded if she wins... and don't really care if she flames-out and sinks....

14. Well, they didn't tell when she'd gone broke
It's possible, I'd guess. I remember reading in Bernstein's biography of her that she doesn't read newspapers or magazines, but depends on staff to tell her when she needs to know something is happening.

15. No, I don't think that
I think she's taken the old adage to heart:

"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit."
