Obama to Get Remaining Senate Endorsements
"Most of the seventeen Democratic senators who have remained uncommitted throughout the primaries will endorse Barack Obama for president this week," CNN has learned.

Sources say the senators "will wait until after the South Dakota and Montana primaries to announce their support for Obama."

1. WTF HARRY RIED??
According to CNN’s Candy Crowley, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid will remain uncommitted until Clinton officially drops out of the race.

9. Yeah, their renewing the so-called "Patriot" Act, confirming war criminal
Condoleeza Rice as Secretary of State, and continuing to fund the illegal and immoral Iraq occupation, pretty well told the tale.

A few stand up for what's right from time to time, but not many and not often.

14. They simply gave her enough time and leeway to bloody and batter the Democratic Party as
an institution and as a whole. I hope they're happy with the Frankenstein Monster they've stood by and allowed to roam freely.

4. Chill. It's For Appearances.
Same as Howard Dean - he's an official and a referee and has to stay neutral until it's clear, then close ranks around the nominee.

It's all part of the game.

Seriously, this guy is about as useless as a solar-powered flashlight.

Don't let the door hit you, Harry.

5. The Senators know Clinton & Obama
They are making their decision based on personal knowledge, as well as political common sense.

Dear Hil: For the sake of the nation, please get a clue.

13. They Are Waiting to Endorse
The Senators are waiting to indorse this 'person who is outside of Washington, DC politics' because they want to give the impression that every vote means something in America.

How quaint an idea is that? Nearly as quaint as the Geneva Accords against torture.

The Obama people on this forum who want a candidate appointed rather than elected are real believers in Democracy. (Sarcasm) It is a change from the usual belief of people who want elections, not appointments

15. This argument makes little sense due to the fact that Hillary left the starting gate with
what.. hundreds of SDs.. ? I don't know the exact number, but those people weren't very concerned with "waiting".

16. Wasn't it Clinton who just 3 weeks ago was calling on the SDs to overturn the elected delegates?
I don't get it.

Anyway, I agree that they should wait until after Tomorrow, now.

Funny, though, how the goal posts move again when Obama is winning by every metric.
