30. Friday night I had dinner with 3 women in their 70s and 80s

(I love having dinner with them, because it makes me the "kid" in the group) who would - to a point - agree with Harriett except they all plan to bite the bullet and vote for Obama - they're even less happy about voting for him than I am. They have all be active in the party for years, (one goes back to 1948) and all of them feel like Clinton was robbed. Don't discount the women who feel this way, Obama and his supporters need to find a way to bring them back into the fold or we will get stuck with McCain.

I've talked with people of that demographic... and once you press it... that is partly the issue

Obama will win, but not by the numbers he should

Why?

There will be many folks who will tell you they voted for Obama, but in reality voted for anybody but Obama,

I don't discount that either.

And what Harriet said, a less than adequate black man, is exactly THAT speaking

On the bright side, he brought in many younger folks who may see skin color, but it is not that critical for them

Oh and expect the RNC to push the black fear in ways we have not seen in years, probably decades.
