Not to get your hopes up.

"SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- A Hillary Clinton spokesman told reporters on a flight over South Dakota that Clinton has no plans of dropping out of the race at her election night celebration in New York City tomorrow night.

“She is in this race until we have a nominee, she still believes there is a path for her to become that nominee,” said spokesman Mo Elleithee. “I think it's pretty clear that she is not conceding.” When asked "Will you deny that she is dropping out tomorrow night?" Elleithee responded, "Yes.""

1. Eh. He has to say that.
Otherwise her votes in the last two primaries could take a hit.

2. Bill said
"I want to say also that this may be the last day I'm ever involved in a campaign of this kind," the former president told Clinton supporters in South Dakota, ABC and NBC reported on their news websites.

7. Well, technically, the CAMPAIGN part is over.. no more primaries. So he could
easily say that to gin up votes and not mean she's dropping out. She's just moving on to the next phase.

8. Well, it is the last day of the primary campaign in any case
There are no primaries after tomorrow.

I certainly hope Bill was accepting reality, but it's not necessarily what he meant.

5. Well, it has been said that you can't fix stupid, but maybe that doesn't apply to willful stupidity.
"Willful" does imply a choice, after all.

4. "Until we have a nominee"

We'll have a nominee Wednesday morning after Barack picks up two dozen new superdelegates.

6. She's going to look pretty dumb
Coming out with a big defiant "Fight all the way to the convention" speech on Tuesday night only to get buried under an avalanche of superdelegate endorsements on Wednesday morning.
