Controversial Barack Obama T-shirt No Longer for Sale

MARIETTA, Ga. (myfoxatlanta.com) – Community leaders in Marietta celebrated a victory involving a controversial t-shirt Friday.

A Marietta restaurant's decision to sell a t-shirt depicting presidential candidate Barack Obama as cartoon character Curious George sparked controversy last week. Friday, opponents of the shirt were celebrating the fact the shirts were no longer for sale.

2. That was my thought as well
A letter from Houghton-Mifflin threatening lawsuit would work wonders.

Too bad...I wanted to see the SOB bankrupt from legal expenses.

8. If the KKK owned the trademark yes, but the gentlemen didn't own the Curious George trademark and he
didn't get permission to use it.
