Poll question: Would you accept Hillary as VP if you KNEW we would win with her???
Edited on Mon Jun-02-08 08:28 PM by KansasVoter
I honestly do think that the 100% sure way to win is to pick Hillary as VP. She has too many people who love her and even if only 5% of her supporters don't vote for McCain we could need that 5%. So based on this how to you feel?

2. This is a rediculous poll. Lets TRUST Obama's judgment...
Why else support the guy? If Obama picks Hillary, WITHOUT pressure from the mass of surrogates and so forth, why wouldn't fervent Obama supporters be OK with this?

Give it a rest folks - Obama MUST have better judgment in picking a VP than we do. Trust him. If he picks Hillary, lets all be thrilled and look at all the good stuff it gets us.

4. This is *not* only about getting to the GE. It's what happens AFTER.
She's so desperate to get this nomination she just couldn't be trusted to sit relatively idly by at #2. I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her if I were Obama.

5. Not voting
I believe that she does more harm than good to the ticket.

She burned her bridges with the kitchen sink and Tonya Harding strategies.

7. you can't have change with back to the 90s with Bill & Hill
If America had wanted the Clintons back then she would be the nominee, why is there this
now, did Howard Dean's supporters demand that he be Kerry's vp, this is nonsense.

17. Remember "assassination" day, when everybody decided that there
was no way for Hillary to be on the ticket after those awful comments? Someone please tell me, what the fuck happened after just a week? Now there's thread after thread about Hillary being VP--it's sickening.

18. If I could somehow KNOW that we would win with her
Then I believe I would also know I could win with someone else, as I see Clinton as a weaker VP choice overall. If she could guarantee a win, then there must be many alternatives that could also guarantee a win.

There would be someone for everyone to hate is what it would amount to with a ticket like that.

24. No, because we will win without her.
The odds of winning with hrr are far less, as we would alienate all the new young Dems, and attract a massive right-wing turnout to vote against her.

Edited on Mon Jun-02-08 09:23 PM by Akoto
Then yes, absolutely, I would accept her as Vice President. At this point, I think you must have a screw loose if you believe McCain as President would be better than an Obama-Clinton ticket.

31. It's not just about winning
It's about governing, and turning this crazy train around. It's about what is best for the country. Hillary and her ego (and Bill's) just aren't facing in the right direction. No, thank you.
