Criticizing John McCain's views/policies... THE DISCLAIMER

Is anyone else sick of how, when anyone takes issue with McCain's policies/record/etc., they seem to always preface the criticism with, "I have great respect for Senator McCain's service...."

Yes, we know about his service. We know he was a POW. We know that he (and some of his supporters) like to talk about how he doesn't exploit that period of his life for political gain even though he ran commercials with grainy footage of himself in the POW camp.

We get it. He served. We hear it all the time.
