Why the F is Harry Reid asking superdelegates to delay announcing who they are supporting?
"were privately urged by Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (Nev.) to delay any announcement until the final votes have been counted, according to multiple Democratic sources"

9. Correct
She wanted to run out the string with all the primaries and caucuses and tomorrow is that ending. After tomorrow is soon enough for the supers to announce without seeming to rain on her last parade!

12. like she showed us when she mocked Obama & his supporters,
went after Wright, implies Obama MIGHT be Muslim, lied about "the popular vote", implied McCain was a better candidate than Obama, used the memory in RFK in an obscene, unspeakable way, said Obama can't get white votes, told her supporters she lost because she was treated unfairly by men, said Fox News is the only fair and balanced news organization, etc, etc, etc.

The couple left the WH dead broke.

They are worth 109 million dollars now. How much would they have to give Reid to get him to offer up such a command??

We are gonna see more and more GATEKEEPER activity between now and the convention.

5. So that it's pledged delegates and not superdelegates that put Obama over the top.
To negate the "nominee chosen by the DNC" nonsense.

16. Obama only has 1739 pledged delegates
He needs 2118. He will only get 30 or 40 tomorrow. He has to have the superdelegates whether you think it is nonsense or not.

6. I think he's trying not to give Camp Clinton any claim to being railroaded out of the contest
I think the supers and the rest of the Dems realize by now that they'll seize ANY opportunity to make something out of nothing, so, unfortunately, they need to proceed with caution.

14. I think there are two reasons. First is, as you've all stated, he
wants to give Hillary the respect she deserves. Second, and most important is that the LASR two States are voting on tuesday. EVERY other State primary votes have mattered in this primary, for the FIRST TIME in my lifetime! I think Harry realizes that and he wants those voters to have the satisfaction of mattering too.

Do you have any idea how discouraging it is to always have your State's primary be too late in the season to make any difference? I do! I lived in 5 different States and my vote never mattered!

If 48 State voters mattered this time, how can you possibly want to slam the last two?????

22. I think that might still happen

A group of them already met. I think they'll declare shortly after the polls close. We'll see if there are enough of them.

The ones who are going to choose to support Obama will want to do it in a way that helps his campaign. That would be the time to do it, so there's a fair chance he'll be put over the top, once the voting is over.
