I think Hillary should be considered for VP, along with others |
|
At this point I am not saying she is the best choice but I do think Obama should put her on the short list and see if he would lose a lot of voters with her not being on the ticket and what voters and states she might bring in. There are good arguments both ways. The bottom line is who will give us the best probability of winning in the fall. If Obama and his people determine that Hillary provides that increased probability then they would be nuts not to chose her.
I hope it's someone like Clark or Biden, but right now the most important thing is getting Obama in the Whitehouse and if Clinton can help then I will get behind the decision whole heartedly.
I suspect we will see a completely different Hillary in the next few days. I suspect she is just someone who plays hard to win but becomes a great team player once she has made her concessions. I could be wrong but if she does get behind Obama 100%, I think she will be a lot easier for DUers to take.

2. Fully agree that Obama WILL have her on a "real" shortlist... |

as opposed to a fake one for the MSM, as McCain recently did. Hillary MUST be considered, whether his supporters like her or not. It would be silly to suggest we all trust his judgment and then expect him to discount her out of hand. Obama WILL make an informed, reasoned judgment in selecting his VP, and Hillary's name will be among the 3-5 or so they consider.
Whether he picks her or not, I'll trust his judgment either way.

9. Obama/Edwards can beat McCain |

After what Hillary implied about the month of June/Bobby Kennedy assassination/Obama, I would NOT have her as a V.P. Words and implications have consequences!
