My Republican friends don't hold Rev. Wright against Obama

I have three friends who are solid Republicans and they will all vote for McCain this fall. However, they all told me last night they think Obama means well for the country and they don't care about his connection to Rev. Wright.


Thought that was encouraging.

He just went for his 15 minutes of fame at the wrong time. The only thing I hold against him is his timing and wonder why he did that to Obama. That's all. I'm a white female, too. I looooved it in his sermon when he said the chickens were going to come home to roost. You don't know how many times I've thought the same thing.
