Superdelegate endorsements for Tuesday 6/3 (demconwatch)
http://demconwatch.blogspot.com/2008/06/superdelegate-endorsements-for-tuesday.html

On the last primary day of the year, Obama starts out with two over-the-night pickups, worth 1.5 votes:

Maria Chappelle-Nadal (MO) has announced her support for Obama, and will be officially endorsing later today.
. . .

Michigan superdelegate Joyce Lalonde endorses Barack Obama.

3. It's about time.
In Illinois where Obama was the clear winner of the primary, Rahm Emanuel is still holding out as "undecided." I believe that he is the only Illinois holdout. Let's not forget it when he attempts to push party policy or run for some higher office.

4. He also resisted the 50-state strategy throughout 2006...
...then tried to take credit for Howard Dean's big win.

6. Losing 7 of 10 Presidential Elections, and how not to repeat the repeated mistake
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 09:33 AM by mikekohr
Howard Dean's 50 state strategy is the answer to rooting out the rats. Any pest exterminator will tell you if you do not kill the nest, the pest regroups and fans out again.

Relying on the "blue box," has lost us 7 of the last 10 presidential elections. Remove the criminal malfeasance of the Nixon administration and and we likely lose in '76. Remove the presence of crazy ole Ross Perot in '92 and '96 and we quite possibly lose as well. We could have been shut out of the White House for the last 40 years without these strokes of dumb luck. Relying on a 40 year old failed strategy is why we get our asses whipped so consistently in November.

Doctor/Chairman Dean has it exactly correct. Senator Obama recognized Dean's wisdom and developed a strategy that delivered the nomination against the longest odds.
