How can we support Bob Barr w/o hurting Obama's electability? |
|
I want Bob Barr to have a decent showing. I want to offer some support, but ya know that I'll be voting on the left come Nov.
How can we support Bob Barr w/o hurting Obama's chances?

6. Tout Barr when amongst Republicans |
|
who you know will never vote for a Democrat. I know several--they don't like McCain, and are really smitten with Ron Paul. I'm making the argument that Barr shares many of Paul's values, and would be a better "fit" for their votes. I've found these folks are really listening to me.

7. It's not really my style, but... |

If you're so inclined, I'd go on message boards and pose as a republican/libertarian type, hyping Barr as a "Real Independent" and McCain as, well, more of the same. It would be totally credible.

10. Talking up Barr to my Republican husband |
|
who still won't vote for a Democrat. He doesn't want McCain. He also voted for Perot, so it isn't a stretch for him to vote for Barr.
He also stayed home for Bush's second run.
