Cool I get to waste my 3rd post on nothing
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 01:46 PM by FlyingSquirrel
'cause by the time I get home from work I'll be able to post again.

So here goes....

This place is fucking psycho. It's a zoo. It has just about zero relationship to reality, and I can tell this because until this past December I did not know about its existence - and therefore I can still remember reality.

In reality, 50% of the Democratic Party is not sitting in their chairs at a computer fuming about a handful of trolls who have somehow been allowed to hang around, slandering the Clintons daily and filling the netspace with complete garbage and yes, misogynism as well (many of them).

50% of the Democratic Party is not so disappointed that they plan to stay home or vote for McCain or write in Hillary at the ballot box. My 62-year-old mother certainly isn't. Why don't you look around and ask some REAL people in your real life who you know used to support Hillary and see for yourself. Quit freaking about something that isn't real.

As a matter of fact, your average Hillary Clinton supporter doesn't even BOTHER with the internet. How else can you explain the fact that although she won nearly 50% of the vote in the real world, she never had more than an average of 11% of the people here on DU supporting her? Even before the primaries began? Yes, I was counting. Obama's numbers started at 14-16% (under Biden, Edwards and Kucinich) and steadily increased while Hillary's never got better.

So for pete's sake just quit ranting and raving and woe-is-us'ing about how half the Democratic Party is gonna stay home or vote for McCain because of the kind of crap that a handful of immature people (possibly not even Democrats) have been doing here or at other blogs. It's complete BUNK.

(That last paragraph was the wasteful part 'cause nobody's gonna heed my words)

Oh ya... please keep this kicked!

4. Damn I love this site 'cause you can rant and plead your case
and only those that agree will pay any attention, or so I have noticed. Being a very retired and tired person this is great fun. Fifteen years ago it would have been different. We had no one to vent to except our ignored letters to our congresscritters. So many valuable people on this site give us sites to go to for info which we didn't have 15 years ago.

Some will stay home or vote for McCain. Ha, now we know who some of them are, and they have valuable reasons for their opinion. I believe Kennedy was the only politician that I was excited about that got the nomination and Presidency!! Since then it has been a matter of choosing between two people. Now days for me it is strictly for a Dem., no matter if it's Hillary that is not my favorite. But I want to hear what the Hillary people think and ponder.

5. BUNK. You're absolutely right
Meanwhile, some of the McCain trolls will continue to demand that Obama supporters kiss their butts and be nice to them or they'll take their votes and go play with the republicans, which is quite possibly the stupidest shit I've ever seen posted on DU, whether they mean it or not.
