I continue to wait, and I can wait a long time.

She won't even properly apologize for her OWN remarks, why would she apologize for any of her supporters?

Because I'm almost certain he knows that by now.

He's also a Christian, a six footer, right handed (?)...why weren't those included in the description?

You can't wiggle out of this.

Seriously, if you don't see a problem with the way this was worded, then I weep for the future.

25. Get over it...
Pointing out the obvious isn't racist. Saying that he's "inadequate" is insulting (how many delegates has Harriett won?) but screaming racism at anybody you disagree with dilutes the inherent evil in REAL racism.

27. Then answer my question
Would it be ok to refer to Hillary as an "inadequate person with a vagina"? Word placement and structure is key to getting the meaning of those highly charged words. As a white person, I am outraged by the words "inadequate black man".

Sorry your candidate lost and ran a pathetic campaign. Doubly sorry that it brought out the worst in people.

29. I'm an Obama supporter...
And I too am sorry that this campaign has brought out the worst in people.

For example, the need to pick at the scab just to make it bleed just a little bit longer. Let it go.

31. Pick at the scab? Your analogy is flawed
This just happened - I'm not dragging something out of the closet that happened months ago.

I'm not willing to give a pass to overtly racist comments of people that represent Hillary's campaign.

Oh for shit's sake...
She doesn't "represent" Hillary's campaign any more than I represent Obama's camppaign. She's a loud-mouth, pissed-off supporter and what she said is not a reflection on Hillary or anybody else -- except perhaps some poor upbringing on the part of her parents.

We won. Let it go.

28. Why defend the racist comment the woman said?

She emphasized "inadequate black male" to further the same notion that Geraldine Ferraro and other Clinton supporters have perpetuated-- that Obama wouldn't be winning if he were not black.

She herself tried to qualify her racist comment and assuage her (likely) resulting guilt by saying something to the effect of "There, I said it!" as if she new damned well it was the wrong thing to say (or think, even).

30. So What!?
Do you expect Hillary and Obama to jump in front of a camera every time a supporter says some damned fool thing? For Chrissakes, just based on what's been posted on DU alone, neither one of them would have had time to conduct their campaigns. They'd be apologizing and denouncing every fucking minute of the day.

Grow a thicker hide.

Should she be expected to apologize for the comments of a loon that had no relation to the campaign, and that she'd never even heard of before? It's asking a bit much to ask her to be responsible for everyone on earth.

that he had nothing to do with.

Clinton's connection to this batshit woman was a lot closer than Obama's connection to Pfleger.
