13. That's a bit strong.
Thom's drawn out pimping of the dream ticket has gotten nauseating at times, but for the most part, he is a strong, intelligent progressive voice, and deserves respect.

Wait, do you even listen to him?

34. Actually, I'm not sure that's true. My memory from 2004 is that
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 02:38 PM by LisaM
Kerry wanted Gephardt, and that he WAS pressured to take Edwards, that he wasn't his first choice.

This article confirms that somewhat: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1626498,00.html, though it doesn't go as far as what I remember, which was that Kerry really, really wanted Gephardt.

7. Thom pushing his own agenda
It might happen and it might be true, but its very tough for me to put much merit to it because he's been on this kick since Obama started looking like he was going to be the nominee back in February.

15. Well, then they can endorse Hillary, if that's true
Why in the hell should our near-nominee be pushed by a few people to make a decision that should be his own. Ridiculous, if true. If he wants her, fine, but the more pressure he gets over this, the less likely he will be to put her on the ticket. Why would he want to appear willing to kowtow to pressure?

32. Thom Hartmann is badly misguided on his stance of a so-called 'unity' ticket.
Here is what he referred to... apparently Senator Ken Salazar was in a private meeting with a handful of uncommitted Senate superdelegates, and they were kicking around withholding an endorsement for Obama unless Hillary was on also the ticket.

Now THIS is appeasement. And it's also cowardice by certain Senators.

C'mon, Thom. Get with the program. There's been too much water under this bridge.
