Do you think Obama would have beaten Hill if his "pastor problems" had come out in the beginning?
Instead of after some states had already voted and didn't have the chance to use that in their decision making process?

Its just so close that I wonder if it made a difference at all

I really don't get this line of bullshit. It's just plain crazy-talk.

20. No, it's not. The only way to call it "close" would be if there were
enough states and primaries still left for her to realistically take the delegate lead under the proportional system we have. Outside of that context, it's not close, because his lead was insurmountable since March--and the SD's still have no reason not to award the pledged delegate leader with the rest of the number needed to make him the nominee. And believe me, if she had EVER held the pledged delegate lead, she and the party would have forced him out at their earliest convenience.

2. This is the talking point that the caller on Thom Hartmann was pushing
"The Wright story didn't come out until AFTER Obama had a decisive lead in delegates! Wah!!" As if this is somehow a) Obama's fault and b) that it was unfair to Clinton that Obama wasn't racebaited with Wright earlier.

5. If it had come out earlier it would have been LESS of an issue. Iowa has common sense..
If it came out pre Iowa they would have made it die a quick death.

I think he'd win before Hillary.

14. Do you think Obama would've clinched it earlier if Clintons hadn't lied to working class whites
into believing an unqualified black man was playing the race card against them, and lied about her actual position on NAFTA?

18. Yes because everyone saw right through it
his numbers dipped a bit but they went right back to where they were.

The corporate media couldn't bury him to make it between their two candidates. In fact anything from the media is almost outmatically rejected.

21. I think Hillary did Obama a favor
by staying in and getting all this pastor stuff and every other negative thing one could say about Obama out in the open before the Republicans had a chance to get to it. It'll seem like old news when they make their inevitable attacks.

22. Yes. The racists wouldn't have voted for him even BEFORE the pastor problems.
And he won in all-white Oregon by 19 points after all of that.
