How is this play by Hillary much different than Dick Cheney picking himself?
So after months of bashing Obama and saying he is not fit to be president, after months of saying privately and to
some extent publicly that he cannot win, she now thinks she is just what he needs.

One the day when the story should be about him, she makes it about her. She is publicly putting open pressure on
him to pick her. It is more than a veiled threat. It has the feel of coercion. It certainly is a power play.

It is completely inappropriate to negotiate this with his campaign in public. She is way out line to usurp his timely
process of selecting his vice-president. If he succumbs to this strategy, he will look weak. Hillary on the other
hand, much like Cheney, will have selected herself for the position.
