Demcon watch has the total now needed at 27
Obama may pick up about 19 pledged delegates from MT and SD and there are 5 SD's from MT who will endorse with the projected MT win

So, by my math, 3 more SD's to announce before the polls close and the MT and SD primary results will push Obama over the finish line.

1. And with the other eight due to endorse when polls close
the magic number is 19.

19 of 31, that's tough.

Let's hope for a few more to pad it.

5. Please note that DCW's 27 needed as of this hour INCLUDES Pres. Carter already
but not the 5 MT SD's who have promised to endorse the MT winner tonight.

With two Clinton backers jumping ship and switching to Obama.

Switched DNC Ben Johnson (DC) from Clinton to Obama
Switched DNC Kamil Hasan (CA) from Clinton to Obama

Plus 10 former Edwards delegates are moving to Obama (though not yet included). And 10 more delegates yet to be officially included in the total.
