Sorry but I actually would like to see Hillary as the VP
Im a Obama supporter and will support whoever he chooses for the VP spot but I would like to have the 1st Black President & the 1st women VP.

Lets not forget that Obama isnt the best at attacking with those little headline attacks. Hillary is a perfect person to attack McSame while Obama stays above it. Unlike Edwards & Joe Lieberman; she will go after McSame. Also when she talks she will get headlines because how popular she is.

Hillary also would never lose a debate unlike Edwards & Joe Lieberman. She will actually blow away McSames VP pick.

Its something to think about.

2. You see the ads the GOP is ALREADY running? The ones with HILLARY'S words against Obama being used?

That's why it cannot happen.

5. Thank you!
She kinda screwed that up...Crossed the line, and now it can't happen. If we want to win, that is.

I'm afraid they'd be using the Obama arguments against Hillary had she been the nominee.

30. But they wouldn't have nearly as much ammunition. For example, Obama
never put out an ad indicating he and McCain were the only ones who could run the country. For that tactic alone she should be disqualified.

37. no TV spots
Well, I don't think Team Obama has used TV spots as a vehicle for its criticism of Clinton. I think Obama prefers a more indirect approach, directing his supporters to develop arguments on the internet that Clinton was responsible for NAFTA, outsourcing, the death of Affirmative Action, Welfare Reform, the War in Iraq, etc. Whereas the Republicans might not necessarily pick up these themes, they might instead prefer the Team Obama arguments that she is reckless, desperate, not transparent with regard to her campaign finance/personal finances, etc.

10. IMO, it'd be a great ticket...
one that would set new ground and I really hope it happens.

Can you imagine how McCain's ticket would look compared? Two old white guys vs. Obama/Clinton. The Dems would win easily, IMO.

Don't know if it'll happen and if it doesn't, I'll be cheering on whoever he picks. I'll still keep my fingers crossed, though. :)

12. That's just insane. If that would happen, you will be seeing that commercial of Hillary saying
McCain had the experiecnt to be POTUS and Obama didn't over and over and over again. She killed any chance of her being the VP when she said that.

I don't think Obama is into suicide.

LOL, that would drive the rePubes crazy.. Obama should put her on the ticket.. If every one that has voted for him and her votes for them in the gen election dems would win for sure.

I'd support an Obama-Rodham ticket. Hillary really needs to get rid of Bill, I wouldn't want him anywhere near the vice presidency, his ego is way too big.

somebody who promotes electoral fraud for her benefit. Democracy is NOT something to be played with and deconstructed.

23. Obama and Clinton would have to spend weeks explaining their past criticisms of each other
The bobblehead/bimbo news media would harass them with old quotes they made attacking each other during the primary season. It would be like Tim Russert's wet dream, as half of his show consists of him dredging up old quotes and playing gotcha games with his guests.

34. Why would you support her for VP but not president?
For that matter I can't figure out why Hillary wants to be VP to the person she decided was not as qualified to run the country as she and John McCain. She is not the right choice.

36. Yes, that is a great point. I hope Obama takes his time and feels no pressure on the pick.
Edited on Tue Jun-03-08 04:20 PM by TBF
There are many very qualified politicians out there, not to mention the other former candidates. I could make an argument for Richardson, Edwards, and maybe even Kucinich (hey, I like the guy!). How about Howard Dean? He's shown great strength under pressure. Runner-up does not automatically become the VP. Obama needs to sit down and look at this objectively.

And Webb's great too - swing state and I love the military experience. Wesley Clark, the list to consider is long.

35. I agree and I think it is going to happen.
She is an excellent debater, too. Just imagine her up against Romney or some of the others that McCain may choose. I know the idea may make some DU'ers heads explode, but the thought of a joint ticket is a good idea. The polling shows that it would be a good idea and would excite voters. We would be seen as a more progressive nation around the world with that dream team. Obama will wait though so it does not look like he was pushed into it. Plus, a few days of celebration before he picks his VP is well deserved by his supporters.
