11. I bet her supersupporters make up about 1% of her 17 million votes |
|
Not significant. 16.9 million of them will move to our nominee without a problem.

14. 1% is generous. I'd be surprised if they numbered more than 5000 nationwide. |

That was an interesting exchange.
I think Hill's already shown herself to be a bit of a bully, and I bet Obama tells her where to stick it.

Pat: She has 17 million supporters, most of whom are fanatically loyal! Rachel: There's no such thing as "17 million fanatics".

8. I think what she meant is, now that Obama has won it |
|
Clinton no longer has leverage since everyone sees it as over and he's the winner.
It was shocking but that's what I thought she meant.

9. On Hardball, just now, in reference to HRC pressuring herself onto the ticket |
|
Leverage = voters. She can not guarantee delivery any voters.

Was it what happened last weekend or the fact that Obama will pass 2118 today?

At least, that's the impression I get. She was talking about how Clinton was saying on the plane on Sunday night that superdelegates towards the number didn't really count, since they could change, while more signals are coming from her campaign that they will accept it sometime this week. But who knows, it could just be some big mind fuck before "HA! Just kidding! To Denver!"
plus, Rachel had expressed last week that the "heavy flow" of superdelegates that Obama's campaign kept hinting at had not happened, while today it really happened.

|
Like she said (Rachel) - listen to what Hillary says. And Hillary said, in today's releases, she's going to work on convincing the delegates that she's the best choice. And she'd got until the convention to do that. :grr:

24. I agree. At this point, Obama needs to win them over and earn their votes. |
|
Hillary is not going to deliver these people. They appear to be loyal to HER and not the Democratic party or platform.
